What is a Dental Home?

Oral Health Impact Project ("OHIP") provides onsite dental care to students at participating schools. Along with preventative care, OHIP provides a complete range of comprehensive services that include X-rays, fillings, cleanings, sealants and more complex procedures. The program consists of dental teams providing care using mobile dental equipment. Consistent follow-up ensures every child enrolled in the program receives longtime care. Screenings are free of charge. Other dental services are billed to Medicaid, programs such as BCHIP, private dental insurance or self-pay as in most dental practices.

Current Programs

OHIP currently has contracts with School Districts in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
