You can have a great smile too – even if you love sweets
and snacks - and who doesn’t? Try these tips to keep your
teeth tops!

Brush your teeth to your favorite
song. You’ve got to brush your teeth for 2-3
minutes to get rid of ugly, cavity-causing bacteria. It makes
your breath better too!

You’ve heard of “no pain,
no gain” well, with teeth, it’s “no floss,
BIG loss!” Floss your teeth, it’s easy
and it feels great to get the gunk out. Flossing prevents
tooth decay and the need for teeth-pulling or fillings.

OUCH! Stop brushing so hard.
You can damage your own teeth by brushing too hard. Brush
evenly and firmly – otherwise you can injure your gums,
and create painfully sensitive teeth.

Sticky can be icky. It's not
just candy that can mess up a smile – sticky foods like
peanut butter, fruits in syrup, cheeses, and even raisins
get stuck on your teeth if you don’t drink a lot of
liquids with them. Try to brush immediately after eating.
- Think about becoming a dentist yourself!
The country needs lots of cool new dentists. You can
work flexible hours, earn a good living, and take care of kids
just like yourself.
